Research Internship of Dr Agata Wolanin under the “Excellence Initiative – Research University – Excellent Mobility” Programme

In October and November of this year, Dr. Agata Wolanin completed a one-month research internship under the “Excellence Initiative – Research University, Action ID-UB-03 Excellent Mobility” programme at the University of Osijek (Croatia), at the invitation of Dr. Mirna Erk.

In the first week of her internship Dr. Wolanin was introduced to the hosting Faculty, the management and the research team. During her stay, Dr. Wolanin conducted research that partially replicated Dr. Erk’s project, consulting with her on data collection and analysis. The internship also provided an opportunity to carry out a preliminary comparison of selected research results, which led to the development of joint research objectives and laid the foundation for future research collaboration.

The internship concluded with a lecture delivered by Dr. Wolanin at the invitation of Prof. Ivana Marinić, the head of the department.

This international research experience contributed to strengthening Dr. Wolanin’s academic and interpersonal competencies, while collaboration with an experienced researcher further enhanced her research and analytical skills.
