ELLRA Conference

On April 25-27, 2024, the Department of English Language Didactics at the Institute of English Philology is organizing an international scientific conference of the Early Language Learning Research Association, dedicated to the issue of foreign language learning by children and young adolescents. The conference will be attended by over 100 speakers from four continents and more than 20 countries. Plenary lectures will be delivered by renowned experts in the field: Prof. Thomai Alexiou (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece), Prof. Nils Jäkel (University of Copenhagen, Denmark), Prof. Marianne Nikolov (University of Pecs, Hungary), Prof. Ana Llinares (Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain), Prof. Agnieszka Otwinowska-Kasztelanic (University of Warsaw). The lectures will take place at the Institute of English Philology UKEN and in the main building at 2 Podchorążych Street.
