To celebrate the second anniversary of ELLRA (Early Language Learning Research Association), we warmly invite you to a unique WebFestival – a full day of inspiring webinars with researchers from around the world who focus on early language learning.

During the event, we will explore:

• the role of picturebooks in developing children’s language and literacy (Donna Lim),
• strategies for supporting motivation and self-regulated learning (Barry Bai),
• L2 pragmatics instruction for young learners (Anders Myrset),
• virtual exchanges in primary English language learning (Whyte, Wigham & Cutrim Schmid),
• challenges and insights from conducting research with very young learners (Veronika Timpe-Laughlin),
• what motivates children to learn English in the classroom (María-Jesús Inostroza).
