50th Anniversary of the U.S. Consulate in Kraków

This year’s reception celebrating the 248th anniversary of the United States’ independence was special as it inaugurated the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the U.S. Consulate in Kraków.

The jubilee was opened by Ambassador Mark Brzezinski and Consul General Erin Nickerson. In their speeches, they reminisced about events of the past half-century, emphasizing the role of Polish-American friendship.

After the national anthems and the official part of the event, the Topside U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa Band took care of the artistic arrangement.
